FINANCIAL MATTERS

"There is a growing awareness that life as we know it came from the

seas and that life as we know it depends even now on the seas. Thus, innovative, interdisciplinary graduate programs that combine solid

marine biology with equally solid social science, are critically needed to prepare the new generation of professionals who will effectively conserve and restore marine biodiversity. These programs and these professionals are perhaps far more critically - desperately - needed than many may realize. Programs such as the CMBC MAS program meet the need and quite literally serve and benefit the future of humankind."
